The Xiaomi Watch 5 combines a classic premium design with advanced smart features. The watch features a 316L stainless steel case and sapphire glass over both the screen and the heart rate sensor for improved resistance to scratches and wear. It measures 47 × 47 × 12.3 mm and weighs approximately 56 g without the strap.
The large 1.54-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 480 × 480 pixels and a brightness of up to 1500 nits. The slim bezel provides a spacious and clear viewing area, while the sapphire glass contributes to extra durability in daily use.
The Xiaomi Watch 5 is equipped with a 930 mAh Xiaomi Surge battery. The battery life is up to 6 days in smart mode, up to 4 days with Always-On Display in smart mode, and up to 18 days in power-saving mode, based on Xiaomi's test conditions. The watch is charged using the included magnetic charging dock.
With a dual-chip architecture that combines the Qualcomm Snapdragon® W5 Gen 1 and the energy-efficient BES2800 processor, the Xiaomi Watch 5 delivers both high performance and efficient power management. The watch also features 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage for apps, features, and local content.
The Xiaomi Watch 5 offers over 150 sports modes for activities such as running, cycling, hiking, and other forms of exercise. Built-in dual-band GNSS with L1+L5 supports GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS for more accurate positioning during outdoor activities. The watch also supports offline maps, route navigation, and breadcrumb navigation.
For daily health and fitness tracking, the Xiaomi Watch 5 can monitor heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress, and sleep. The upgraded sensor technology uses PPG, EMG, and motion sensors, among others, to provide detailed information on activity and well-being. These features are intended for fitness and general wellness tracking and do not replace professional medical assessment.
With Wear OS by Google, you get access to smart features and apps directly from your wrist. The Xiaomi Watch 5 supports Google Gemini, Google Wallet, Google Maps, Google Calendar, and apps via Google Play, among others. You can also use advanced gesture controls to perform select functions without needing to tap the screen directly.
The watch has 5ATM water resistance and is equipped with a speaker, microphone, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, and NFC. Bluetooth calling is supported when the watch is connected to a phone. The Xiaomi Watch 5 is used in conjunction with the Mi Fitness app and supports Android smartphones. iOS devices are not supported.
