Seamless monitoring – indoors and outdoors
The Aqara Camera G100 Select is a 2K security camera built to work just as well in the hallway as it does on a facade. With an IP65 rating, it withstands the elements and provides reliable monitoring all year round. The wide 140° field of view reduces the number of blind spots, which can mean fewer cameras are needed to cover the same area.
Clear image around the clock
Capture details with 2K resolution (2304 × 1296) and H.264 video encoding. When it gets dark, the camera switches to night mode with either a spotlight for color images or infrared night vision. The camera uses 940 nm "invisible" IR LEDs for the IR mode.
Local and cloud storage
For those who want to record continuously, the camera supports 24/7 recording to a microSD card (Class 10 or higher) up to 512 GB (microSD not included). You can also back up recordings to the cloud* with end-to-end encryption. According to the documentation, you can choose between free cloud storage or advanced cloud storage via a HomeGuardian subscription.
Compatibility and smart ecosystems
The camera works with several platforms: Google Home, Apple Home, and Alexa. It also supports HomeKit Secure Video* and can stream to compatible displays in Google Home, Alexa, and SmartThings. With RTSP support, it can be integrated with solutions such as Home Assistant, Frigate, and Blue Iris.
*Please note: when using HomeKit Secure Video, the maximum resolution is 1080p.
AI detection – local and cloud-based
The G100 offers dual levels of AI detection. The free local AI detection can provide notifications upon human detection. For more advanced recognition, you can activate the HomeGuardian plan for cloud-based AI, which, according to the documentation, can include recognition of pets, vehicles, packages, and faces*.
*Cloud-based AI detection requires a HomeGuardian plan. A free trial period is included and activated automatically according to the documentation.
Features in the Aqara Home app
The Aqara Home app provides practical features for both privacy and security: Privacy Masking (masking selected image areas), voice modification for two-way communication, and an Anti-Theft Lock that locks the camera to your Aqara account to prevent theft.
Automations that make your home smarter
Create smart scenarios, such as an intruder alarm that triggers the spotlight and plays a pre-recorded message when a person is detected. You can also build privacy workflows – for example, having the camera switch to Privacy Mode when you arrive home via an Apple Home scene (according to examples in the documentation).
Mount where it fits best
The camera can be installed on a table, wall, or ceiling – choose the placement based on your home and the area you wish to monitor.

There are two versions: Camera G100 (includes 1 month of HomeGuardian) and Camera G100 Select (includes 3 months of HomeGuardian). This product is the G100 Select.
