Outdoor camera and smart hub

The Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro (Wi-Fi) is an outdoor camera that also functions as a Zigbee and Thread hub as well as a Thread Border Router, making it possible to connect Aqara devices and integrate them into Matter-based ecosystems.

It can act as a Matter bridge for Aqara Zigbee devices and a Matter controller for Aqara and third-party devices. Stated compatibility: Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, and Homey.

Sharp image – even in the dark

The camera provides 4 MP (2.6K) Quad HD (2688×1520) with a 133° diagonal field of view. An f/1.0 aperture and graphene-cooled 1/1.8” sensor improve light intake. The built-in spotlight can be used in security automations.

Spotlight: 3 W, 120° beam angle, 3000K.

Local AI for notifications

Locally hosted AI with 7-in-1 Visual AI and 4-in-1 Audio AI. The built-in NPU enables simultaneous use of visual and audio-based AI.

Visual AI recognizes faces, people, vehicles (including individual vehicles), and animals, as well as detects loitering people, lens blocking, and delivered packages (stationary packages). Events can be linked to alerts, recording, or the camera's response.

Privacy and storage

Support for HomeKit Secure Video and encrypted local eMMC storage. According to available information, end-to-end encryption is also supported for video sent to both Apple and Aqara clouds.
