Outdoor camera and smart hub in one

The Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro (Wi-Fi) is more than just a security camera—it also functions as an outdoor-capable hub for Zigbee and Thread. This allows you to connect Aqara devices and other smart products, while also acting as a Matter controller and bridging ecosystems. Perfect for taking your smart home outdoors and consolidating control and security in one single device.

Local AI – for both image and audio

The G5 Pro features a built-in NPU that enables locally hosted AI: 7-in-1 Visual AI and 4-in-1 Audio AI can be used simultaneously. The camera can recognize faces, individual vehicles, people, and animals. It can also detect loitering individuals, monitor if the lens is blocked, and register delivered packages (package detection refers to stationary packages). You can set detections to trigger notifications, start recording, or have the camera react.

Sharp imagery – even in the dark

For clear surveillance around the clock, the camera delivers 4 MP/2.6K resolution (2688×1520) with a 133° diagonal field of view. The large f/1.0 aperture provides improved light intake, and combined with True Full Color Night Vision, a graphene-cooled 1/1.8" sensor, and a built-in spotlight, you get exceptional clarity for night surveillance. The spotlight can also be used in security automations.

Privacy and secure storage

The G5 Pro is compatible with HomeKit Secure Video and features encrypted local eMMC storage. It also supports end-to-end encryption for video footage sent to both Apple and Aqara clouds. For you, this means a strong focus on data security, regardless of whether you choose local storage or cloud streams.

Wi-Fi model with flexible installation

This version connects via dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) and uses WPA3 for increased network security. Power is supplied via USB-C (5V 2A). The camera can be mounted on a flat surface, wall, or ceiling with the rotatable stand, and the stand can also be replaced with a 1/4" screw for alternative mounts.

Built for Nordic weather

The camera is IP65-rated for water and dust protection and is designed to maintain full functionality even in harsh temperatures. The operating range is specified from -30°C to +50°C, making it suitable for year-round outdoor surveillance.

Streaming and network storage

With RTSP support, you can stream video locally to software such as Frigate or Blue Iris. SMB NAS support provides more options for local storage. For convenient viewing, the G5 Pro can also stream to smart displays and TVs from Alexa, Google, and Samsung.

Compatibility and ecosystems

As a hub and Matter device, the G5 Pro is designed to work across multiple platforms, including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, and Homey. It can act as both a Matter bridge for Aqara Zigbee devices and a Matter controller for Aqara and third-party devices, and it also features a built-in Thread Border Router.
