The screen is built with an advanced, high-precision eight-layer optical structure. The design helps direct the projector's light toward the viewer while reducing distracting ambient light, resulting in a clearer and higher-contrast image.

ALR technology for a better picture in bright rooms

Ambient Light Rejecting technology is designed to reduce the impact of light coming from directions other than the projector. The result is better contrast and clearer details compared to a standard white projector screen, especially in rooms where it is not always possible to darken completely.

The optical surface is specifically adapted for ultra-short-throw projectors that are placed close to the wall and project the image upwards onto the screen.

The Mi Ambient Light Rejecting Projector Screen 100" is developed for ultra-short-throw projectors with a throw ratio of approximately 0.225:1–0.275:1. Xiaomi models that meet these requirements include the Mi 4K Laser Projector 150" and the Mi Laser Projector 150".

Standard projectors with a longer throw ratio, such as the Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 and Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 Pro, are not intended for use with this type of UST ALR screen.
