Keep track of temperature and humidity – in real time

The Aqara Climate Sensor W100 helps you monitor your indoor climate with a clear display directly on a 3.4-inch LCD screen. It is designed to provide accurate measurements for both temperature and humidity, making it useful in everything from living rooms and bedrooms to indoor gardens, storage, and other more sensitive environments.

Thread or Zigbee – choose what suits your smart home

The W100 supports both Thread and Zigbee and is Matter-compatible for broad cross-platform interoperability. When adding the device to Aqara Home, you can choose the mode:

Thread mode (default): No hub required. The sensor can connect directly to third-party Matter controllers. For Thread, you need a Thread Border Router on the same LAN as your phone.

Zigbee mode: Requires an Aqara Zigbee hub. This mode is aimed at Aqara Home users and power users who want more features within the Aqara ecosystem.

In both modes, the device is exposed as a temperature sensor, humidity sensor, and wireless buttons, providing support for relevant automation triggers in compatible systems.

Broad compatibility with smart home platforms

Thanks to Matter support, the Climate Sensor W100 can be integrated with multiple ecosystems, including Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, Home Assistant, and Homey. This makes it easier to expand your smart home and switch platforms over time.

Three buttons – up to 9 automation commands

With three physical buttons that support single-press, double-press, and long-press, you get up to 9 customizable actions. These can be used to trigger automation scenes or control smart features in Aqara or compatible third-party apps – a smooth way to simplify daily routines.

Note: Previously set configurations for wireless buttons may be disabled when the device is connected to an Aqara thermostat.

Additional climate readings on the same screen (Aqara Zigbee mode)

In Zigbee mode, when the sensor is connected via an Aqara hub, you can use "Secondary" readings to view two areas on the same screen. You can link another Aqara sensor to show readings from an additional room/space, while the W100 continues to show local values.

Simpler HVAC control via Aqara

Via Aqara Home (in Zigbee mode), the W100 can be paired for wireless HVAC control. It can be linked to an Aqara thermostat or an IR-controlled air conditioner via the Hub M3 to adjust temperature, mode, and settings without you having to go to the device itself.

Note: Currently, the device can only be connected to the Aqara Radiator Thermostat E1 via Aqara Home settings in Zigbee mode. Support for more Aqara thermostats may be added via future updates. IR control via Hub M3 is also only available via Aqara Home in Zigbee mode.

Long battery life with two CR2450

The sensor is powered by 2 x CR2450 batteries and is designed for long operating time: up to 2.4 years in Zigbee mode and up to 2.3 years in Thread mode (according to Aqara lab tests with standard settings). In Zigbee mode, you can also adjust the sampling and reporting frequency via Aqara Home to optimize the balance between responsiveness and power consumption.

Note: Actual battery life may vary depending on protocol, button usage frequency, and selected measurement/reporting intervals.

The Climate Sensor W100 is available in model variants TH-S04E and TH-S04D. The number of accessories may vary depending on the version.
