Compatibility – what you need

To add the sensor to a Matter app, a Matter Controller and a Thread Border Router are required (in the same device or separately). Examples mentioned: Apple TV 4K (3rd gen, 128 GB), Echo (4th gen), Nest Hub (2nd gen), Nest Hub Max, SmartThings Hub v3/Aeotec Hub v3, Home Assistant Yellow; as well as HomePod (2nd gen), HomePod mini, SmartThings Station, and Nest Wi-Fi Pro.
