The Xiaomi REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G in Purple combines an extra-large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with high resolution, a powerful Snapdragon® chipset, and an 8340mAh battery (typical capacity). With 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, you get plenty of space for apps, photos, and videos.

Display: 1.5K AMOLED with up to 120 Hz

The phone features a 6.83" 1.5K CrystalRes AMOLED display (2772 × 1280) with an up to 120 Hz refresh rate (for supported apps). It delivers a wide color gamut (DCI-P3) and 12-bit color depth. Peak brightness is specified at up to 3500 nits, with 2000 nits HBM and 1060 nits (typ).

For more comfortable use throughout the day, it includes 3840Hz PWM dimming and TÜV Rheinland certifications: Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution), Circadian Friendly, and Flicker Free.

Camera: 50 MP OIS and ultra-wide angle

The rear camera system consists of a 50MP main camera with OIS and a bright ƒ/1.8 aperture (5P lens), as well as an 8MP ultra-wide camera with ƒ/2.2 and a 112° field of view. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera (ƒ/2.4, 5P lens).

Video recording with the rear camera supports 1080p at 30 fps and 720p at 30 fps.

The phone is rated IP66 and IP68 for dust and water resistance. It also features Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2. According to stated test data, it also has certified drop resistance of up to 3 meters (SGS test). Water and dust protection as well as drop resistance apply under specified laboratory conditions and may be affected by wear and tear or damage.

Sound, unlocking, and connections

For audio, it supports Dolby Atmos® and Hi-Res Audio, as well as a stated 300% volume boost (tested according to the manufacturer's internal lab). Unlocking can be done via an in-screen fingerprint reader and AI face unlock.
